Product Manager evidence generally centers on deciding what to build, why it matters, how work should be prioritized, and how partners were aligned. Strong answers connect customer needs, business goals, delivery constraints, and measurable outcomes.

Goldman Sachs asks engineering applicants to take a HackerRank assessment. That requirement applies to engineering applicants and does not establish that Product Manager applicants receive the same assessment.

Compared with interviews centered on specialized technical output, Product Manager answers should make the reasoning behind a decision visible. Other employers may label similar exercises differently, so prepare the underlying skills and confirm the format described in your invitation.
